Welcome to Autojack21
The Autojack Blackjack™ resource page. Here you can learn about this new and exciting, fast-paced Blackjack variant, as well as play our online version.
Game Description
AUTOJACK BLACKJACK™ is a variant of Blackjack. It is played with one or more standard, 52-card decks of playing cards. All cards played in this game have the same point-values as they do in regular Blackjack.
With this game, you receive a Blackjack hand. This hand is played the same as a Blackjack hand is played in regular Blackjack. This provides you with your favorite game play that you find in regular Blackjack; such as doubling-down and splitting. You also receive an Autojack hand. This hand plays similar to a Blackjack hand, but receives automatic hits and cannot bust should you choose to Play it and not Surrender it. If you like your Autojack hand and want to keep it in action, you must make an additional Play wager to do so. If you don't like this hand, you can Surrender it, and receive half of your wager you have on it back. Your starting Blackjack and Autojack hands can have Blackjack, if they start with an Ace and a 10-point card; this gives you more chances of getting a Blackjack. A winning Blackjack still pays 3 to 2 with our game. This game also offers you two optional sidebets for you to wager on; one with a top payout of 500 to 1.
Quick Rules
- Make bets to receive a blackjack and autojack hand, by making a blackjack and autojack ante bet. Optionally make Point N Suit and/or Break Under 17 bet.
- Receive your starting bj and aj hands; dealer receives a up-card and down-card.
- Dealer resolves Point N Suit bet.
- Dealer addresses Insurance and Blackjacks; if needed.
- If dealer didn't have blackjack, choose to play or surrender your aj hand. If you choose play, make an autojack play bet equal to your autojack ante bet. If you choose surrender, you forfeit half your autojack ante bet and receive half of it back.
- Complete action on your bj hand as in regular blackjack.
- Receive automatic hits on your aj hand until the hand totals 21 or more; if you previously chose to play your aj hand or have a Break Under 17 bet. If total is 21, that's total for that hand. If total exceeds 21, total before exceeding 21 is total for that hand.
- Dealer acts on their hand. If their total is 17 to 21, that total is used against your bj and aj hands. If their total exceeds 21, a bust is played against your bj hand and the total before exceeding 21 is played against your aj hand.
- Dealer resolves remaining bets; see Bet Resolving Table.
How To Play
Make a required Blackjack bet and Autojack Ante bet before cards are dealt. Optionally, make a Point N Suit and/or Break Under 17 bet at this time.
When you make an Autojack Ante bet, you receive an Autojack hand. Your Autojack hand is your hand dealt closest to your Autojack Ante bet. There are only two actions you can take on your Autojack hand. The actions or either Play or Surrender. You must choose to Play, or to Surrender this hand against the dealer, before you act on your Blackjack hand. If you choose to Play this hand against the dealer, you must make an Autojack Play bet equal to your Autojack Ante bet. This hand and the dealer's hand will play against each other, as a Blackjack hand plays against a dealer in regular Blackjack; with a couple exceptions. The first exception, the dealer will automatically hit your Autojack hand, after you've completed your action on your Blackjack hand; if you made the Autojack Play bet. The dealer hits this hand until it totals 21 points or exceeds 21 points. If your Autojack hand totals 21 points, that is your final total for this hand. If your Autojack hand exceeds 21 points, the last card dealt that made your total exceed 21 points is removed from your total; the remaining total is now your final total for this hand. The second exception, the dealer can't bust when playing against your Autojack hand, or for the Break Under 17 bet. If the dealer's hand total exceeds 21 points, the last card dealt that made the total exceed 21 points is removed from their total; the remaining total is now their final total for their hand when playing against your Autojack hand, or for the Break Under 17 bet. If you choose to Surrender, you lose half your Autojack Ante bet, and the other half is returned to you; you will not play your Autojack hand against the dealer. If you choose to Surrender, and have a Break Under 17 bet wagered, your Autojack hand is automatically hit as described above; to allow for your Break Under 17 bet to play out. The dealer also plays their hand out if there is at least one Break Under 17 bet made.
When you make a Blackjack bet, you receive and play a Blackjack hand against the dealer just as in regular Blackjack. Your Blackjack hand is your hand dealt closest to your Blackjack bet. All rules that apply in regular Blackjack apply to this bet. You act on your Blackjack hand, after you've acted on your Autojack hand.
Note: Insurance is offered, if the dealer's up-card is an Ace card. Insurance is offered after the Point N Suit bets are resolved. A winning Insurance wager pays 2 to 1. The maximum Insurance a player can take, is an amount equal to half of the sum of their Blackjack, Autojack Ante and Break Under 17 bets.

Our fast-paced Blackjack game makes it impossible for you to bust on a hand you make a Play wager on. The dealer will even hit that hand when it totals 20; with no chance of you busting it. Other no-bust blackjack games limit you by not allowing you to take another hit once you have a hand total of 17. With AUTOJACK BLACKJACK™, there are no additional dealer hand totals that cause a push; as is found in some other blackjack variants.
